Airbags, seatbelts and active headrests
SRS* dual front airbags** are standard, as are front side airbags for passenger and driver protection. Active headrests move forward automatically in rear collisions to cradle the neck against whiplash. Front seatbelts have high output pretensioners and load limiters, while child tether anchors and ISO-FIX child seat anchors are fitted as standard, too. The overall effect, in any accidental impact, is to increase safety levels for everyone on board.

Ring-Shaped Reinforcement Frames
This all - embracing ring-ribbed safety cage combines roof, door and window pillars and floor into one strong, ener gy-absorbing framework. It encloses the whole passenger cabin, ready to dissipate impact energy no matter which direction it comes from. Reinforced protection extends to front, side and rear of the body. It's like a safety shield all-round the car.
Pedestrian protection
