EyeSight

Subaru's Latest EyeSight*¹ Technology

Subaru’s latest EyeSight*¹ technology integrates stereo cameras, a wide-angle monocular camera, and front radar*² to broaden detection capability, especially for pedestrians and bicycles, supporting greater peace of mind while driving.
*1 EyeSight is a driving support system which may not operate optimally under all driving conditions. The driver is always responsible for safe and attentive driving and observance of traffic regulations. System effectiveness depends on many factors such as vehicle maintenance, weather, and road conditions. See Owner’s Manual for complete details on system operation and limitations for EyeSight including functions in this brochure.
*2 Available only on the Touring model.

Lead Vehicle Start Alert

At a stop, the system prompts action with a buzzer and flashing indicator when traffic begins moving.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Ideal for long motorway drives and stop-start traffic, Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a set speed while adjusting to the flow of vehicles ahead—helping reduce fatigue and support safe distance-keeping.

Lane Centring Control and Preceding Vehicle Adaptive Steering Control

Improved recognition of the vehicle ahead helps cruise control operate more smoothly through curves, reducing the need for frequent driver corrections and helping ease fatigue on longer drives.

Lane Departure Prevention

Can recognise lane markings and provide steering support to help keep the vehicle within its lane, reducing the risk of unintended lane departures.

Pre-Collision Braking System*¹

Improved image recognition and control software help detect potential hazards at intersections, supporting collision avoidance in complex traffic situations.

Autonomous Emergency Steering

This system works alongside Pre-Collision Braking and Lane Keep Assist. When braking alone isn’t enough to prevent a collision, it can provide automatic steering assistance to help guide the vehicle around an obstacle—when conditions safely allow.

Pre-Collision Throttle Management

When an obstacle is detected in front of the vehicle, this feature can step in if you accidentally press the accelerator—reducing engine power for a moment to help avoid sudden movement and minimise possible damage.

Front Pre-Collision Braking System*¹*²

Can help avoid a collision with a buzzer and flashing indicator and braking assistance when the system detects a high possibility of a front collision in areas with poor visibility such as intersections or when leaving a parking spot.
*1 Pre-Collision Braking System may not work in all situations. Depending on the speed difference from objects, the object’s height, and other conditions, every situation may not meet the necessary conditions for EyeSight to work optimally.
*2 Available only on the Touring model.
The driver is always responsible for safe and attentive driving and observance of traffic regulations. Please do not depend solely on these safety features for safe driving.
There are limitations to the features of this system. See Owner’s Manual for complete details on system operation and limitations. Please ask your retailer for more details.
