Lineartronic + Active Torque Split AWD

Lineartronic adjusts to any ratio in its range for smooth and stepless gear changes that keep the engine in its most efficient range for efficient and smooth acceleration, driving performance and better fuel efficiency. It comes paired with Subaru’s active torque split AWD system. Its default torque is well-balanced front to rear and adjusts in response to real-time traction conditions.

SUBARU BOXER Engine

The SUBARU BOXER engine features a horizontally opposed layout, with pistons that move in a side-to-side motion. This unique configuration creates a lower centre of gravity and reduces vibration—enhancing stability, smoothing out acceleration, and supporting balanced handling. Inside, quietness is improved through High-damping Mastic around the roof, Front and Rear Laminated Glass with a sound-insulating interlayer, and tighter sealing from the Full-circle Weather Strip, Gap Seal Extension, and Resin Sealing Covers. An optimised Roof Rail shape further reduces wind noise from above. The result is steadier driving and a noticeably calmer, quieter cabin on long journeys.
